Park School Interim Dean and Professor of Strategic Communication Diane Gayeski was the keynote speaker at the US Coast Guard Training and Human Performance Conference in Williamsburg, VA on September 24.  Her presentation, "What Makes Nexters Tick?" covered critical social and psychological factors impacting the design of training for young adults.

Gayeski also presented a clinic at the fall conference of the International Society for Performance Improvement on Virtual Consulting Teams on September 25, and is leading a series of three live webinars for Training Magazine on designing learning for the workforce of the future.   Gayeski's research focuses on new technologies and management strategies for organizational communication and learning.
