The Clothesline Project: Domestic Violence Awareness MonthContributed by Laura Kathrein on 10/20/09 Brought to you by IC Feminists Tuesday October 20- Friday October 23, IC Feminists will be displaying the Clothesline Project outside Emerson Suites. The Clothesline Project aims to address the issue of domestic violence and inner partner violence. Victims and allies decorate shirts as a vehicle to express their emotions. They then hang the shirt on a clothesline to be viewed by others as a testimony to the problem of violence against women. IC Feminists is working with the Advocacy Center to bring this powerful exhibit to Ithaca College as apart of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Come check it out from 10am-3pm October 20-23. Peace
