Belay certification class offered at the Climbing WallContributed by Kathy Farley on 02/11/10 The Ithaca College Climbing Wall is offering a Belay Certification Class, for any student, staff or faculty looking to learn, refresh or hone their skills. Participation in the class in $5. This can be applied towards discounted purchase of a semester pass upon successful completion of the belay test. (only $25 for a semester pass!!!) The class is dependent on the participation of at least 6 individuals. The deadline to sign up is February 25th. To inquire about taking the test, if you have any questions, and to sign up, please contact Justin Gainer and include "Belay" in the subject line. The first class will run on Saturday, February 27th from 12-2 pm at the IC Climbing Wall, located in the Wood-Floor Gym, Lower Level Fitness Center.
