FLU VACCINATION

Contributed by David Newman on 10/25/09

A reminder to IC students and all those who care about them, that Ithaca College will be offering free H1N1 (swine) flu vaccine to all registered students at the Hammond Health Center on Monday October 26, from 9 AM until 4 PM, no appointment necessary. Students may also schedule free vaccination at other times by calling 274-3177.

IC faculty and staff are encouraged to be vaccinated against H1N1 through their own physicians’ offices or at one of the clinics offered by the Tompkins County Health Department, as H1N1 vaccine has been distributed to us only for immunizing students.

SEASONAL INFLUENZA

The Hammond Health Center and the IC Department of Human Resources will continue to offer free seasonal flu vaccination to all faculty, staff and students as soon as we receive additional vaccine shipments. There are no seasonal strains of influenza circulating in North America at this time.
