This award is Ithaca College's recognition of outstanding juniors and seniors, who excel in academic achievement, perform service to the College community and nation, and represent an exemplary level of accomplishment.

The nominating process is now open for the Peggy R. Williams Award for Academic and Community Leadership.

This award is Ithaca College's recognition of outstanding juniors and seniors, who excel in academic achievement, perform service to the College community and nation, and represent an exemplary level of accomplishment. The most outstanding students representing the College will be selected regardless of school or departmental affiliation. The names of students selected for the award will then be submitted to the national Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Any Ithaca College faculty member, staff member, or student may nominate an outstanding junior or senior for the Peggy R. Williams Award for Academic and Community Leadership by submitting the online form on the Office for Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs website or by e-mailing osema@ithaca.edu. Self nominations are also accepted. The nominee's name, class standing and e-mail address are required, however if local address and telephone number are known please submit as well.

Nominations must be received by 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2009. All eligible nominees will be sent an application form to complete. Only those students who complete the application will be considered.
