The event will focus on DiFranco's most recent political songs demonstrating how DiFranco's recording techniques, in conjunction with her musical, lyrical, and performative choices, embody DiFranco's musical-political persona. The next Spectrum meeting is Nov. 11 Wednesday at 6PM, but it will take place somewhere else besides Wiliams 317. Instead of the meeting I want to check out this great presentation about Ani DiFranco's music and politics. Ani is an musical artist, and most of her lyrics involve being bisexual, and the issues and joys that come along with it.
