Bombers to Host St. Joseph's in ECAC Volleyball WednesdayContributed by Michael Warwick on 11/09/09 The Ithaca volleyball team (23-17) has been selected for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament. Ithaca, the top seed in the eight-team tournament, will host eighth-seeded St. Joseph's (20-14) in a quarterfinal match Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Ben Light Gymnasium. Wednesday's other quarterfinals feature second-seeded St. John Fisher hosting seventh-seeded Medaille, third-seeded Elmira hosting sixth-seeded Baruch and fourth-seeded FDU-Florham hosting fifth-seeded Ramapo. The four quarterfinal winners will advance to Saturday's semifinals and final at a site to be determined following Wednesday's matches. Ticket prices will be announced by the ECAC Tuesday. |
