"Mathematical Art with Computers” is a 3-credit hour online course offered during Winter Session 2010 (January 11-22). The course is designed for non majors and gives the student a feel for the beauty of mathematics that is so much neglected in traditional math settings. The course will use a computer language co-designed by the teacher and all the information will be provided. The students will create designs some of which will be changing in time. Successful completion of the course satisfies the GE 2b H&S distribution requirement. Note that tuition for online courses is not included in the general tuition fee.
