Grant Strategies for Media Makers and Non-Profits, (or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Grants)

CNPH 21500 Professor Jamieson.  A two credit course, winter session. Online.  

Grants are a chance to connect your project or organization with vital resources. It requires creativity, vision, passion and organization. This introductory course in grant strategies will get you started.   You will learn about  professional grant writing, who hires you (and why), and where to find grants to fund your own projects and projects you believe in. You will learn how to find grants, shape proposals and budgets, evaluate mission statements and develop effective plans.
