Timothy Glenn, Lecturer in English, presented a paper titled "Cultural Resistance and 'Playing Indian' in Thomas King's 'Joe the Painter and the Deer Island Massacre'" at the Mid-Atlantic Popular/American Culture Association Annual Conference in Boston, MA, Nov. 6. 

His panel, "The Play of Artistic Resistance," was one of two panels organized and chaired by Ron Denson, Assistant Professor in Writing, who serves as the association's Area Chair for Native American Studies.
