Ithaca College to Host New York State Section of American Physical Society Biannual Symposium SeriesContributed by Jill Ackerman on 11/16/09
You are invited to attend a symposium on Physics and Archaeology November 20 and 21, 2009. The symposium will be at Ithaca College and is part of the New York State Section of the American Physical Society biannual symposium series. This will prove to be an engaging symposium by bringing together physicists and archaeologists from New York State to discuss a range of topics to include: dendrochronology, analysis of paintings, ground-penetrating radar, and other intersections between physics and archaeology. To learn more about the symposium and register for participation please visit www.nyssaps.org. To encourage undergraduate participation the NYSS-APS waives registration fees and offers a reduced banquet cost to undergraduate student participants. Ithaca College and the NYSS-APS look forward to seeing you at the symposium. |
