Susanne Morgan Presents and Publishes in Faculty DevelopmentContributed by Judith Barker on 11/19/09 Ithaca College was well represented at the recent annual meetings of the Professional and Organizational Development Network in Higher Education, the largest organization of scholars and practitioners in the field. Susanne Morgan was a faculty instructor of the all-day workshop for new faculty developers and also co-facilitated a Topical Interest Group session on organizational development. Her own session was “Redirected Change for Regeneration: Social Capital and Faculty Commons” and she co-led a session in the IDEA Users Group called “What a Great IDEA.” In the current issue of To Improve the Academy: Resources for Faculty, Instructional, and Organizational Development (Vol. 28, 2010) she is co-author, with Sally Kuhlenschmidt and Susan Weaver, of “A conceptual Framework for the Center: Going Beyond Setting Priorities.”
