The journal "exists to foster community and share information among those interested in the intersection of libraries, technology, and the future." It provides an access point for people looking to learn more about the development of tools for accessing information, approaches and solutions to real-world problems, and about possibilities for building on the work of others. As a member of the journal's editorial committee, Andrew participates in the collective management of the entire business of the journal, editorial as well as business functions.
