Join the officers of Ed2010 for a presentation of insider tips and advice from NYC magazine editors and alumni about job hunting, writing for mags and the biz. Monday, Dec. 7, at 7 pm in Williams Hall room 222.

Over the fall break, 13 members of Ed2010, the college's student-run chapter of a professional magazine networking group, went to New York City for three days, visited seven magazines, and met up with more than a dozen editors, many of which are alumni. We toured Woman's Day.com, Smart Money, W., Entertainment Weekly, Star, Men's Fitness, and Time Out New York, and had exclusive Q&As with successful freelancer and author Abby Ellin '89 and GQ staffer Cole Lousion '00.

It was a weekend to remember. Everyone came back with a wealth of tips and insider advice from editors and alumni. Now we want to share that info with all of our Ed2010 followers! Please join us from 7 to 8 pm on Monday, Dec. 7 in Williams 222.

That night we will also hold elections for students interested in being on Ed2010's executive board. All positions are open --president, vice president, treasurer and secretary. Anyone is eligible to run; all it requires is a quick 1-minute speech about your interest and qualifications, and all those attending will cast a silent ballot.
