Patricia Zimmermann, codirector of the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival in the Division of Interdisciplinary and International Studies and professor of cinema, photography and media arts, was an invited speaker at the 2009 Cinema Arts Festival Houston November 16. 

Zimmermann conducted an onstage, post-screening interview with Academy Award winning actress Tilda Swinton (Michael Clayton, 2007) and acclaimed feminist film director Lynn Hershman Leeson. The film screened was TEKNOLUST (Leeson, 2002, USA/Germany/UK).

In addition, the interview was filmed live by the film distributor Microcinema International for a DVD extra for their rerelease of Hershman's narrative films with Swinton, CONCEIVING ADA and TEKNOLUST, slated for Fall 2010.
