Information Technology Services (ITS) is pleased to announce the launch of our new website, www.ithaca.edu/its/. The new site not only has a new look and feel but has been completely re-designed with our users in mind. What's New The ITS website is divided into five sections: Getting Help, Accounts, Services, Training and Documentation and General Information. The System Status Alerts and the News section are now available as RSS feeds. We are excited about the "EduTech" blog discussing instructional technology and "Stories from the Helpdesk". Information about technology sustainability practices and information security is also now available. Getting Help Get information about the ITS main service centers quickly including the ITS Helpdesk, the Student Computer Repair Center (SCRC), Classroom Technology Services and more. Accounts Find quick summaries of technology account information including access, creation, expiration and password reset procedures. Services Learn more about what we do for the campus community. Discover a comprehensive list of ITS services. Training & Documentation Access training information, workshop schedules and software documentation and support levels. General Information Find information about technology initiatives, sustainability, policies, information security best practices and the ITS organization. Using the Site Getting used to something new always takes time. If you can't find what you are looking for easily, use the search option available on every page or click the 'Site Map' link at the bottom left on any page to view a tree-like representation of the content contained in that section. A feedback link is also provided at the bottom of each page, feel free to send comments our way. We hope the new site provides you with all of the information you need in a friendly and efficient way! |
