Ithaca College

Have you been wanting to play in orchestra since coming to college, but haven't had the time or the opportunity?

The Ithaca College Sinfonietta is an orchestral ensemble open to all Ithaca College and Cornell students and can be taken for credit. All string, wind, brass, and percussion players, both music majors and non-music majors, are encouraged to join--no audition is required.

The Spring 2010 repertoire will be: 
Finlandia (Jean Sibelius)
Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 (Edward Grieg) 
Symphony No. 8 (Franz Schubert)

Rehearsals will be held week on Mondays from 6-7:50pm in Presser rehearsal hall at the Whalen Center for Music on the Ithaca College Campus. If you are interested in participating please email Jesse Livingston at: jliving2@ithaca.edu
