A $100 gift certificate to the IC bookstore is the prize for creating the IWE block. The contest is explained on the IICC website, and it is being run in association with the ICIC 10000 Integration course this spring.
Integration is a one-credit mini-course. It involves a series of hands-on learning activities over a single weekend, it is graded pass/fail. Seats are available February 26-28 (section 1), March 26-28 (section 2), and April 9-11 (section 3). IWE stands for I, We, and Earth, three contexts for systems thinking. Systems thinking will help you make connections among what you are studying in different courses. This can make your learning more lasting and more useful in meeting complex real-world challenges.
