Please participate in the revived Faculty Colloquium Series of the Center for Faculty Excellence. Scheduled on announced Thursdays from 12:10 to 1:00 in the Demotte Room of the Campus Center, the colloquia feature presentations and discussions of faculty scholarship. You may propose a session or plan to attend them.

While faculty are welcome to present their research on any topic, we  particularly welcome presentations in the scholarship of teaching and learning. To submit a proposal, please follow the link below to provide us with all the relevant information.

This series is part of the Ithaca Faculty Commons, the emerging model that links all of the faculty development activities of the college through coordination, resource-sharing, and networking. The Faculty Commons will have an online environment as well as a strong face to face center. The Faculty Colloquia will be audio recorded for the college’s iTunesU, and follow up discussion groups will continue in myHome.

Two events are already planned: the presentations by Ali Erkan, Michael Smith, and Debbie Rifkin from the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Join them with presentations you have made or that you are preparing!
