Karl Byrand, PhD, University of Maryland-College Park and candidate for the ENVS Environmental Geographer position here at IC will be presenting on his research into the cultural landscape at America’s first national park. His research interests include historical geography and the cultural landscapes of America’s national parks, and migration and the evolution of cultural landscapes among the Hmong people in the US.

The seminar will take place on Tuesday 2 February at 12:10 in CNS 112. Refreshments in the lobby will precede the seminar. All are welcome – please join us!!
