Athletic Training Faculty & Students Present Research at Regional Meeting

At the January, 2010 Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association Annual Meeting & Symposium, held in Boston, MA, several faculty and students from the Athletic Training Education program presented their joint research as case study poster presentations. Non-Traumatic Isolated Osteochondral Defect of the Knee in a Female Soccer Player was presented by Courtney Gray, MS, ATC, Assistant Clinical Professor, Shannon Reugger, ATC, '09, and Dr. Kent Scriber, ATC, PT, Professor and Clinical Education Coordinator; and Recognition and Management of a Femoral Stress Fracture in a Female Collegiate Lacrosse Player was presented by Cody Herbert, ATC, '09, Caryolyn Dartt, senior, Class of '10, and Chris Hummel, MS, ATC, Clinical Assistant Professor. The athletic training education program is part of the Department of Exercise & Sport Sciences.
