The ICNL Stewards program began last year with 26 faculty and student stewards taking care of South Hill Land. Stewards are designated a parcel of South Hill Natural Land and are required to visit their land once a week and fill out a monthly monitoring report for the Ithaca College Natural Lands Committee. These reports are then used by the committee to observe the changes occuring on IC land. Any member of the IC community can become a steward.
