The Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity would like to invite members of the campus community to attend the presentations of three faculty who are candidates for the position of assistant professor of Latino/a Studies. All the talks will be in February on the dates below:

Dr. Gustavo Lincón, Tuesday, Feb. 9, 12:10-1pm, CHS 201, Talk: "Different Paths to Liberation: Gender, MECHA, and the Chicana/o Student Movement". 

Ms. Martha Escobar, Tuesday, Feb. 16, 12:10-1pm, CHS 201, Talk: "Understanding the Roots of Latina Migrants' Captivity".

Ms. Margaret Salazar, Thursday, Feb. 25, 12:10-1pm, CHS 201,"Representational Conquest: Tourism, Display, and Public Memory in America's Finest City"
