The Out of the Closet and Onto the Screen film series will host a screening of An Island Calling on Wednesday March 24, in Textor 103.

In covering an unusual and intricate murder mystery in Fiji, this documentary seeks not to find the killer but to discover his motives through a society’s politics and history.

Sponsored by the Ithaca College Center for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Education, Outreach, and Services, the film series this year will explore LGBT lives and stories from around the world. The series will present a total of eight films during the spring 2010 semester; all are free and open to the public.

For a complete schedule visit the events section of the LGBT Center website or contact the LGBT Center for a spring film series postcard. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Lis Maurer at lmaurer@ithaca.edu or 607-274-7394. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
