Participation in the Ithaca in Washington, DC Program is an excellent way for you to make a difference. Past IC in DC interns have had unparalleled opportunities to work on national issues with some of the nation’s best and brightest in non-profits, advocacy groups, political organizations and the federal government. We challenge you to use this summer to work on an interest, important to you, in an experiential-learning environment immersed in the history, politics, and culture of our nation's capital. Moreover, through your internship for academic credit, you will acquire a depth of knowledge about a profession, experience practical applications of your major, and develop awesome professional networks for your future During the academic year, the IC in DC Program offers a full academic load with an internship and coursework. During the summer, the IC in DC Program is internships only. Consider participating in IC in DC Program this summer or the next academic year. We welcome applications from all majors. Come to an information session and meet with students who have participated in the program and learn about the value and excitement of spending a term in Washington, voted the best city for young professionals by “Kiplinger's Magazine” because of the cornucopia of opportunities inside and outside of government. The application deadline for Summer 2010 is February 18, 2010 and for Fall 2010 is March 1, 2010.
