The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs (OSEMA) invites the Ithaca College Community to nominate ALANA students for 2010-2011 academic year African Latino Society Alumni Memorial Scholarship.

The scholarship honors high achieving the African-American, Latino/a, Asian, or Native American (ALANA) student at Ithaca College, who have made significant contributions to multicultural awareness and to well being of ALANA students on the Ithaca College Campus. Students may be nominated by Ithaca College faculty, administrators, staff or IC students. Students may also nominate themselves.

To be considered for a nomination a student must be ALANA students entering the sophomore, junior or senior year, be in good academic and judicial standing, have at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA or better.

All nominated students will be sent an application form to complete. Only those students who submit a completed application and return it by the application deadline will be considered. The nomination form is available at the OSEMA website www.ithaca.edu/sacl/osema/docs/MA/ALS_Scholarship/. Please send this nomination form via campus mail or fax to the attention of Nansa Brown, OSEMA, 325 Egbert Hall, to 607.274.3030. Nominations are due before Friday, February 26, 2010.
