On Thursday, February 11th, 12 students and 3 Deans from the School of Health Sciences & Human Performance were inducted into the Ithaca College Chapter of Alpha Eta, the National Honor Society for Allied Health Professions. The graduate and undergraduate students from athletic training, exercise science, physical therapy and occupational therapy were chosen because of their outstanding academic accomplishments, commitment to service, scholarship, and professional potential in the allied health fields. College President Thomas Rochon gave a Presidential Address to the students, faculty and guests, and a small reception was held in honor of the Inductees. The Chapter is now recognized as a formal academic honor society by the college, and is the first and only Academic Society open to multiple programs (athletic training, exercise science, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech language, pathology & audiology) in the School of Health Sciences & Human Performance.
