SCAD is a private, nonprofit, accredited institution that offers a choice of degree programs in over 44 areas of study. Students can pursue their degrees at campuses in Savannah and Atlanta, Ga., in Lacoste, France, through SCAD-eLearning & in Hong Kong starting Fall 2010. Graduate degree programs are offered in 44 different areas of study at SCAD: Accessory Design, Advertising, Advertising Copywriting, Animation, Architectural History, Architecture, Art History, Arts Administration, Cinema Studies, Commercial Photography, Design for Sustainability, Design Management, Digital Photography, Documentary Photography, Dramatic Writing, Fashion Design, Fibers, Film and Television, Furniture Design, Graphic Design, Historic Preservation, Illustration, Illustration Design, Industrial Design, Interactive Design and Game Development, Interior Design, International Preservation, Luxury and Fashion Management, Metals and Jewelry, Motion Media Design, Painting, Performing Arts, Photography, Printmaking, Production Design, Professional Writing, Sculpture, Sequential Art, Service Design, Sound Design, Teaching Art, Teaching Drama, Urban Design and Visual Effects. At the graduate level the college offers Master of Architecture, Master of Arts, Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Fine Arts, and Master of Urban Design degrees, as well as graduate certificates. The five-year professional M.Arch. degree is accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board.
