Anthropology major Morgan Milazzo elected to steering committee for international organizaton of anthropologists who do research and intervention work on HIV and AIDS.Contributed by David Turkon on 03/04/10 Anthropology major Morgan Milazzo has been elected to the Steering Committee of the AIDS and Anthropology Research Group (AARG). This was a competative election and Morgan was selected based on her interestes in studying why Ghana has maintained low transmission rates for HIV. As a member of AARG's steering committee Morgan will participate in on-line discussons that help to shape the future direction of AARG, determine themes for its newsletter, and identify emerging areas for research and intervention work. Congratulations Morgan! |
