The Division of Graduate and Professional Studies will sponsor and exhibit at the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) Smart and Sustainable Campuses Virtual Conference on March 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Marian Brown, Special Assistant to the Provost and VPAA at Ithaca College, will co-present with David Lieb, Assistant Director of Cornell Transportation Services. Their presentation is entitled "All Aboard: Developing Community-Wide Alternative Transportation Strategies".

The conference is expected to bring together more than 100 virtual attendees to learn about sustainability financing strategies, master planning, energy management, and institutionalizing sustainability on your campus. The presentations will focus on operational solutions for a low-carbon campus, smart growth policies, and strategies for achieving climate neutrality.

Virtual attendance allows you to learn from video presentations, interact with exhibitors and communicate with peers, without ever leaving your desks. As a Virtual Event participant, you will have access to a suite of interactive networking tools, including group and individual chat, scheduled discussions, message boards, vCard exchange, a message center and Q&A tools, making it easy to connect with sponsors, exhibitors and other attendees. You will connect to online exhibits staffed by people from the exhibiting companies as well as many company representatives who exhibited at the live event. The program will also feature 4-5 highlighted presentations from the conference including discussions with presenters directly following their session. Please visit  www.nacubo.org/virtualsscc10  for more information about the schedule of events and speakers.

Ithaca College faculty , staff or students who would like to attend the virtual conference and exhibit should contact Alayne MacArthur, Professional Programs Manager, at amacarthur@ithaca.edu or phone 274-1115 to register.
