DEADLINE EXTENDED - Call for Proposals for Sustainability Curriculum Development Mini-grantsContributed by Marian Brown on 04/09/10
In the past, PSE has funded proposals to teach new courses, develop new components of existing courses, and revise existing courses to deal with issues relating to sustainability. Proposals have been funded for faculty in anthropology, politics, therapeutic recreation and leisure services, art history, health promotion and physical education, mathematics, women's studies, writing, biology, physics, economics, and environmental studies. Click for Curricular Development Proposal guidelines and forms Past recipients of sustainability mini-grants are also eligible to apply for Phase II Case Study Grants of $400 each, to be awarded to faculty or staff upon successful submission of a detailed description which specifies how they integrated sustainability into the course or other educational activity funded by the initial mini-grant.
