Ithaca College

Keith Kaiser and Beth Peterson, associate professors of music education, recently gave a presentation entitled "Music for Life" at the New York State Band Director's Association Annual Symposium. The presentation was  part of a featured performance of the Ithaca Concert ("community") band, for which they serve as co-conductors. The community band gave a highly acclaimed performance that was interspersed with a presentation that focused on research and philosophy related to the values and benefits of lifelong music participation.
