Physics students Emily Backus ('12), Romaine Isaacs ('10) and Arnold Kotlyarevsky ('10) presented their research.

Physics students Emily Backus ('12), Romaine Isaacs ('10) and Arnold Kotlyarevsky ('10) presented their research at the Annual Meeting of the American Physical Society in Portland, Oregon during spring break.  The meeting is attended by 7,000 to 8,000 physicists from all over the world.  All three students gave oral presentations on their work on superconductors conducted in the Low Temperature Lab in the Physics Department at Ithaca College.  Emily Backus won one of five awards for the best undergraduate presentation.
