Building On Faith: Making Poverty Housing History is a documentary exploring the issue of poverty and inadequate housing. This documentary highlights the struggles many families are facing in making ends meet - do you pay for more a more costly, but adequate shelter or do you seek out a cheaper rent with inadequate housing conditions so you have money left over to buy food for you and your family? Today people living from paycheck to paycheck often have to choose between paying the rent and buying food for their children. This documentary will explore not only these housing issues, but some of the solutions Habitat for Humanity has to offer. Learn about the benefits of adequate shelter and its influence on the children of Habitat for Humanity homeowners. This event is open to anyone who is interested.
