Josh and Alex presented a poster on their research project with Professor Mike Haaf, “Lactide Polymerization with Chiral Aluminum Catalysts”. Ian and Layne presented posters on their research projects with Professor Akiko Fillinger, “Protecting Cu2O from Decomposition while Attracting H+” and “Effects of Varying Methanol and NaOH Quantities on Biodiesel Quality”, respectively. Shanique presented a poster on her research project with Professor Keri Lee, “Synthesis and Enzymatic Degradation of Polymeric-Ceramic Composites as Potential Bone Substitutes”. Tony presented a poster on his research project with Professor Janet Hunting, “Synthesis and Characterization of Conducting Oxide Materials: Multiply-substituted Titanium Niobium Dioxide”. Shawn performed an oral presentation on his research project with Professor Anna Larsen, “Approaching Low-melting Ionics with Alkylated Boron Cluster Anions”, which is a special honor for an undergraduate student at a prestigious professional American Chemical Society national meeting. |
