International Authority on Creativity to Present Public LectureContributed by Cathrene Connery on 04/05/10
Vera John-Steiner, PhD., Presidential Professor of Linguistics and Education at the University of New Mexico, will present “Creativity & Interdisciplinary” in Clark Lounge, Campus Center, on April 13, 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Author of numerous books and articles, John-Steiner’s lecture will address the nature of creative thought and how innovation evolves across the life span and thought communities. The lecture is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
This event is sponsored by the School of Humanities and Sciences’ Dean’s Office—Department of Education; Division of Interdisciplinary and International Studies—Gerontology Institute and The Linden Center for Creativity and Aging; the Office of the Provost, and the School of Music.
