Jack Rossen (Anthropology) spoke in the "Science at Noon" Lecture Series at the Museum of Earth in Ithaca on April 10. His talk was titled "Cayuga Archaeology in Your Backyard."

Jack Rossen discussed the long history of Native people in the area, the archaeology of Cayuga Lake, the importance of collaboration with Native people, and recent evidence he collected, still in the early stages of analysis, that hints at an earlier formation of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Confederacy than has been previously found.
