Raj Subramaniam, Associate Professor, Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education, presented his research at the annual meeting of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) at Indianapolis, Indiana, from March 16-March 20, 2010.

This research investigated the relationship between attitude-skill level in physical education. Results indicate the existence of an attitude-skill level relationship. This finding is particularly relevant in addressing unmotivated and disengaged learners. Providing learners high quality practice opportunities to improve skill level has the potential to impact their attitude toward physical activity.
