Shewanee Howard Presents at AAHPERD National ConferenceContributed by Patricia Green on 04/13/10 Shewanee Howard, Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education, presented at the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) national conference, March 2010, Indianapolis, Indiana. The presentation was entitled, "Ready, Set, Travel! Passing the Torch to Teach Abroad" concerning the planning and implementation of study abroad programs in France and Switzerland. The focus was on the importance of culture, language and misconceptions students have about study abroad programs. |
