Tired of spending your class time delivering lectures at the cost of engaging discussions? With GarageBand you can create enhanced audio podcasts to distribute lecture information or capture your presentation.

  • Place: Center for Educational Technology, Job 102
  • Date/Time:  Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 1:00 - 2:30 pm

Please let us know you are coming by registering at the CET web site.

GarageBand, which comes free on every new Mac, can be used to create enhanced audio podcasts. The end product can easily be made available on iTunes U for students to watch before class or for later review. After a demonstration, there will be open lab time where you can experiment, work on a project and ask questions. At the end of the session, you'll have the opportunity to get one-on-one support.  This session will be led by Fred Chandra of Residential Life, who is a guest Mac consultant for ITS.

Can't come to this session? Visit the CET iTunes U course page and download a step-by-step guide and video demonstration.
