More than 200,000 women in Asia were put into sexual slavery during World War II. According to the International Labor Organization, there are 12.3 million forced labourers worldwide, three-quarters of which the Asia-Pacific region alone. (AsiaNew.net) As one of the most rapidly developing continents in the world, Asia has several human rights issues that are disheartening and hard to fathom.
