Explore the human rights issues of sexual slavery and working conditions in Asia.

More than 200,000 women in Asia were put into sexual slavery during World War II.

According to the International Labor Organization, there are 12.3 million forced labourers worldwide, three-quarters of which the Asia-Pacific region alone. (AsiaNew.net)

As one of the most rapidly developing continents in the world, Asia has several human rights issues that are disheartening and hard to fathom. Join the Asian Culture Club as we explore the concept of "comfort women" and the poor working conditions in Asia.
