On Wednesday, April 28th, Ben Miller will be performing a set of improvised music for prepared guitar at 10:30 PM in Beeler Rehearsal Room, room 3104 in the Whalen Center for Music. Ben Miller has been guitarist/saxophonist/composer/conductor/improviser in the Chicago and New York City area for the past 35 years. He has performed in bands with members of Mission of Burma, the Stooges, and the MC5. Opening for him will be Buffalo-based musician Martin Freeman performing a short set featuring homemade electronics and modified children's toys. This event is free and open to the public.
