On Thursday, April 29, the Symphonic Band will present a free program entitled "The Great Outdoors" at 8:15pm in Ford Hall.  Beth Peterson will conduct Copland's "Outdoor Overture,"  Carter Pann's "Slalom," a piece entitled "Bugs," and the wind band classic by Percy Grainger, "Lincolnshire Posy."
