The Ithaca women's lacrosse team has earned the top seed in next month's Empire 8 Championship Tournament and will host the four-team event at Carp Wood Field.

Top-seeded Ithaca takes on fourth-seeded Nazareth at noon Saturday, May 8 in one semifinal with second-seed Stevens facing third-seeded Rochester Institute of Technology at 2 p.m.
The semifinal winners will meet Sunday at noon with the Empire 8's automatic bid to the NCAA playoffs at stake.
