During this lunch-and-learn you will learn to integrate the basic principles of mindfulness meditation practice into your learning and work environment. There will also be a short guided meditation session.

In only 10 minutes you will discover that you can create a more focused and calmer mind just by breathing in and breathing out… 

A calm mind is a more focused mind and a more focused mind is more open to learning!

This event is presented by Anne Marie Cummings, who has been exploring yoga and meditation for more than 25 years. She is certified by Bikram Choudhury's Yoga College of India. She teaches group and private yoga and meditation classes at Island Health & Fitness and Rasa Spa in Ithaca.
