greatstrides walk sponsored by the Ithaca College Men's Varsity Soccer team raises over $20,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!Contributed by Andrew Byrne on 05/03/10 On Sunday May 2, 2010 a greatstrides walk for Cystic Fibrosis was held at the Upper Terrace Fields on the Ithaca College campus. On Sunday May 2, 2010 a greatstrides walk for Cystic Fibrosis was held at the Upper Terrace Fields on the Ithaca College campus. The event sponsored by the Men's Varsity Soccer Team in conjuction with the Central New York Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation raised over $20,000 for CF research and programs. Steve Bell a 2005 graduate, who lives with CF, was the honorary chairperson of the event. Steve was a four year starter and captain of the men's varsity soccer team. |
