Computer Science Student awarded Google scholarship, has paper accepted for presentation.Contributed by Sharon Stansfield on 05/04/10 Madeline Smith, Computer Science 2010, has been selected as one of the recipients of Google's prestigious Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship. Scholarships are awarded based on the strength of the candidate's academic background and demonstrated leadership. Madeline has also had a paper accepted for presentation at the 2010 Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) Conference. The paper, titled " Infants Control of a Robotic Mobility Device," details research performed by Madeline in collaboration with faculty and student researchers in the Occupational Therapy Department.
