Robin Davis, Assistant Director for Benefits and Work/Life in the Office of Human Resources, recently attained designation of WLCP, awarded by WorldatWork Society of Certified Professionals.  WorldatWork (www.worldatwork.org) is a global human resources association focused on compensation, benefits, work-life and integrated total rewards to attract, motivate and retain a talented workforce.  This signifies that Robin, having passed all of the rigorous examinations, has demonstrated mastery of the body of knowledge in the field. 

Designed to meet the growing need to develop strategies and implement effective work/life programs to improve organization's bottom-line and the lives of their employees, the Work/Life Certified Professional (WLCP)® designation includes four exams:

1. Introduction to Work/Life Effectiveness: Successful Work/Life Programs to Attract, Motivate and Retain Employees
2. The Flexible Workplace: Strategies for Your Organization
3. Health and Wellness Programs: Creating a Positive Business Impact
4. Organizational Culture Change: A Work/Life Perspective

Robin is a leader in HR's focus on Work/Life strategies - strategies that are key investments for the future of Ithaca College.  Her new knowledge, network of contacts, and WLCP certification will help the College move forward in this strategic effort.
