Ithaca College

On May 6th William Lenga and Paul Warrender, received the Presidential Citation Award from Sodexo. This honor is given to Sodexo employees who are credited with saving a life. Tom Rosier, District Manager and Jeffrey Scott, Area General Manager administered the awards.

On January 25th Henry Chen, suddenly became ill. Paul and Bill were onsite assisting Henry and the Campus Safety staff.

Bill has been with Sodexo for 10 years and has worked in the food industry for 30 years, with the exception of the 18 years he spent in the armed forces in Europe, the Mid-East and South East Asia as a Security/Intelligence Specialist for the Army Security Agency.

Paul has been with Sodexo since 1989, and recently relocated to Ithaca in Fall of 2009.

Henry is the catering supervisor and has been employed with Sodexo since last June. He made a remarkable recovery and returned to work in March.

Congratulations to Bill and Paul for making a difference and for receiving this very distinguished honor.
