Ithaca College

Many thanks to the 11 students who volunteered at the Los Angeles Autism Walk, held on April 24, 2010 at the Rose Bowl.  These students, under the guidance of adjunct faculty member Stan Landes (also the advocacy chair for the LA chapter of Autism Speaks), assisted in the petition drive for senatorial support for Autism research related legislation.  In addition to these student volunteers, three students also participated in the annual fundraising walk.

20,000 people attended the Autism walk and raised over 1.2 million dollars. This was ICLA's third year participating as volunteers and walkers - and certainly the largest group.
